Liquid Chlorine is a Clear Yellow Liquid which on evaporation gives a greenish Yellow gas. It is a crucial product for the industry. Grasim has an installed capacity to produce 315 Tonnes of Chlorine per day. Chlorine is used to make a wide range of everyday products - from aseptics, pesticides to plastics, from vitamins to building materials. Chlorine is one of the most effective disinfectants used in drinking water treatment where it helps to prevent the spread of diseases like Cholera and Typhoid. Today chlorine is the main building block involved in the production of the most essential needs of modern society.

| Liquid Chlorine is provided to the customers in returnable cylinders of Grasim or else in customers' own cylinders as per the preference of the customer. The capacity of the cylinder provided by Grasim is 930 Kg in which 900 Kgs of Liquid Chlorine is filled. The specifications of the cylinders of Grasim are as below |
